We met at IIT Kanpur, brought together by chance but connected by our shared curiosity. Late-night debates turned into ideas, and even after college, that spark never faded. We knew we wanted to build something that truly mattered.
We went on to work at top companies like Google, Oracle, Works Applications, and ShareChat. These experiences taught us how to build and scale products, but deep down, we knew we weren’t meant to just optimize existing systems. We wanted to create something of our own.
We came together with one goal, to build something people truly loved. Seek was an interest-driven social network that quickly grew to 10,000 users. But we soon realized that traction doesn’t always mean product-market fit. While people joined, engagement wasn’t deep enough. It was a tough lesson, but it showed us the importance of solving real, sticky problems.
Instead of chasing ideas, we focused on insights. We saw that people were investing in crypto but lacked meaningful ways to use it. That led us to build Swoop, a fantasy cricket platform where users could play using crypto. It took off, scaling to 300,000 users. Then, the FTX crash happened. It wasn’t just a market drop. FTX was one of our investors, and all our parked funds disappeared overnight. We lost everything. But instead of giving up, we reflected on what truly worked. People were deeply engaged in making predictions, and we wanted to build on that.
We built Skello, the world’s first social prediction marketplace, where users could create and trade opinions like assets. It grew fast, validating our belief that people wanted intelligent ways to express and act on their insights. But just as we gained momentum, government regulations forced us to shut it down. Even after multiple setbacks, we never stopped building. As we navigated these challenges, businesses started reaching out to us for help with AI-powered solutions. We took on consulting projects and quickly realized a massive gap. Everyone wanted AI, but very few had the expertise to build it.
This was the insight that changed everything. AI had the power to transform work and creativity, but it was still locked behind technical barriers. People had the ideas, but not the tools to bring them to life. Vestra was born to make intelligence accessible to everyone. A platform where anyone, not just engineers, can build powerful AI agents that help them work, create, and innovate. Everything we’ve done has led us here. And this time, we’re here to stay.
The future belongs to those who build it. Every agent you build with Vestra isn’t just solving today’s problems—it’s building the future of AI and shaping the world.
